I came to Tennessee in 2015 with my husband and later that year we welcomed our daughter. I know what it means to build a life, raise a family, and keep moving forward through hard seasons. I’m running because District 13 deserves a senator who understands real life and is ready to fight for families every single day.
I’m running for State Senate because families in District 13 deserve leaders who show up, listen, and act. I’ve spent my career solving problems, building trust, and making systems work better for people through advocacy, public engagement, justice work, and community leadership. That experience taught me how to get results and it’s exactly the kind of leadership I’ll bring to Rutherford County.
There are six priority areas I plan to focus on when I am elected. These issues are near and dear to my heart, but they are also key to building a better future in Rutherford and all of Tennessee:
1. Maternal Health
2. Healthcare Access
3. Public Education
4. Justice & Safety
5. Voting & Redistricting
6. Community & Families
Redistricting changed the political map, which makes voting more important than ever. Low turnout has too often allowed unpopular policies to move forward without enough public accountability. When we show up, we make it harder for politicians to ignore working families, mothers, students, and communities like ours.
Early voting will begin for the November 3rd election on October 14th and run through October 29th.
